My Red Lenin

I have been working on a series of images and Helen (lecturer) mentioned one image looked a lot like Warhol's 'Red Lenin' work...well I acted like I knew exactly what she was on about and I didn't! So I just looked this work up and I say HELL YEAH it looks like it....but mine is a tennis umpire chair....
Anyway here is mine and here is Andy's.
I really enjoy Andy's work and I kind of realised my work is similar as I tend to be very repetitive in my painting... I can't just do a one off I have to push the images further this is exactly what I will be doing with my tennis images....using different styles and pushing them with different application techniques and distort/repetition of the image.
