Art World magazine

I have recently been buying Art World magazine. It is an art magazine dedicated to Australian and New Zealand artists. I find it and really informative. it reviews different artists and exhibitions. With all the Bill Henson drama it had to can an issue just before its release, however I just read in this issue that you can order it.....it s amazing what the government can do and has power over. Since when is art and creative expression controlled by a government? What is censorship? I understand that child porn is wrong as does 99% of the population does. But why were photographs that were displaying the innocent and beautiful confusion children have when they are bridging towards adulthood have to be condemned in such a way. Why does society have to sexualized everything? Is it because we are all under the influence of advertising psychology when sex sells so every breast or piece of naked skin is some kind of sexual message? Anyway thats my little rant.

Seriously view the Art World magazine it is great to see what local artists are doing and to find out more behind the works.....
