Creating something....I think

I am in the stages of not knowing which direction to take on my work. This is my most idiotic stage of my art making. I get a great concept, I over-think it, I scrap it. I feel I will just let my mind go blank set myself with some supplies and see what happens, no though,t just feeling my environment and feeding the surface......
