John Turier is cool

Not before coffee
I saw John Turier's work for the first time at the Newcastle Regional Gallery. I love it. The way shapes and patterns are created, not only with the object but the light aswell. I love the use of little found objects such as plastic farm yard animals. I just felt at home amongst his work. I truly felt like I need to have some of his work I want to stare at it all day. To me it means everything but nothing. Its meaningful but just nice to look at.

Wow! What a fantastic post and artist. I love creative minds who see out of the box...and look at existing objects and think of how else they can be used.
